ANLA Membership

ANLA currently has over 100 institutional members (75% staffed by volunteer and part-time staff). Archival holdings include records of parent organizations, business documents, diaries, correspondence, photographs, oral histories, recordings and films.

Our institutional members represent a wide diversity of mandates and acquisitions policies. Our members include universities, heritage centres and historical societies, religious communities and congregations, military and legal bodies, medical and benevolent organizations, francophone and aboriginal communities, professional and volunteer associations. For a complete listing of our institutional members, see the ANLA Directory.

Benefits of membership:
ANLA presents training in archival skills and practices through workshops, seminars, and lectures. We also offer professional advice through consultations by mail, telephone or e-mail, and by on-site visits. The ANLA Bulletin, a regular publication of the Association, is provided free of charge to ANLA members, either by mail (on request) or as a PDF through our website.
