Harsh budget hurts the Rooms, Provincial Archives Division
At least thirteen staff positions have recently been eliminated at The Rooms Corporation as a result of the provincial budget. The impact of the loss of these staff positions and the reduced financial support for the flagship provincial cultural and heritage insitution will be felt increasingly as time goes by. ANLA believes the Provincial Government should be made aware of the short sightedness of these budget cuts, in particular as they affect the Rooms, Provincial Archives Division. See more.
